In response to the coronavirus crisis, we have adapted quickly in order to continue to be able to provide support to our tenants whilst keeping our colleagues safe.
Since lockdown, we have been working closely with our partners to achieve this, along with supporting Gloucestershire's Community Help Hub through the co-ordination and delivery of prescriptions.
So far we have successfully delivered a total of 256 prescriptions to shielded and vulnerable people across Cheltenham and thanks to the dedication and support of our hardworking colleagues we’ve been able to make a difference to so many lives within our town.
For example, one of the residents we helped had recently had a heart transplant and was confused about the type of medication he needed. To provide him with the support he needed, we got in touch with Cheltenham Borough Council and together we managed to get an NHS Clinical Commissioning Group rep to check in on the individual and sort his medication out within a few hours.
Residents across Cheltenham are so pleased with the service that we received the following moving feedback.
We have also been busy connecting with people to better understand their circumstances so that we can accommodate a variety of needs and support Gloucestershire's Community Help Hub too.
If you're struggling and in need of some extra support from CBH let us know by calling our Freephone 0800 408 0000 #WeAreInThisTogether
